CURRENT POSITIONS
Producer: Tours
We are seeking a Producer to join our small, committed team and support the planning and delivery of our creative projects, tours, and productions. This is a genuine opportunity to work at the heart of a First Nations-led performing arts company, contributing to work that is culturally grounded, artistically adventurous, and nationally significant.
About the Role
You’ll pitch Na Djinang Circus works to presenters, festivals and venues alongside our Artistic Custodian, negotiate and contract engagements, and build that interest into tours that make sense for the work, the artists and the budget. Then you’ll plan and deliver those tours and projects, keeping them on time, on budget and in line with our artistic and Cultural vision.
You’ll be the main point of contact for presenters from first conversation through to delivery, with a focus on building long-term relationships. You’ll report to our General Manager and work closely with our Artistic Custodian, Project Producer, and the artists, creatives and crew on each project.
We’re after someone who is organised, proactive and collaborative, with an understanding of the performing arts sector and a commitment to First Nations self-determination in the arts.
We are committed to growing arts leadership from within. This role includes genuine professional development and mentorship from our management team, and suits someone with ambitions to grow into arts leadership.
